
Eric Bowman appointed Chief Technology Officer at King
LONDON - 26 March - King today has named Eric Bowman Chief Technology Officer, with responsibility for driving King’s long-range technology strategy and innovation.
Eric joins the Kingdom as part of the senior leadership team, reporting to King’s President, Tjodolf Sommestad.
Leading a multi-disciplinary technology team, including King’s AI group, Eric will have responsibility for creating and aligning King’s technology strategy across the business, and will play an important role in helping to shape technology plans and roadmaps.

Previously CTO at TomTom, where he helped drive the company’s software engineering efforts, Eric brings with him 30 years of experience as a leader and visionary in driving technology solutions, including roles at Glint Groupe, Zalando, and Electronic Arts.
Eric’s appointment comes as Steve Collins leaves the Kingdom later this month after four years as CTO. Steve leaves to go back to his roots of advising and investing in early-stage companies, exploring AI application in software and game technologies.
